{Magnolia vs Stampavie} week 15 - feel the sketch

At Magnolia vs Stampavie challenge blog the sketch this week is so nice, you can find it here. I decided to try the Promarkers - it's the third image I've ever colored - so you'll have to excuse my bad coloring. Really enjoyed playing with the stamp and the sketch, and this time I made a blue/green card, not a pink one! Thanks for visiting my blog!

{Shopping Promarkers}

After reading a tutorial about Promarkers in Ett Trykk this February, I got really curious of the coloring tecnique with Promarkers. So today my credit card got quite warm... I bougt a few of these pens.
My son had to stay home from daycare (kindergarden), since he was quite sick yesterday... Today he was much better and had to go with mommy to shop Promarkers and we also had lunch with my husband.
Here's my first try on coloring the mouse (Henry) - one of my favorite WoJ stamps. I think I need some practice..It's something other to use pens, than a waterbrush and Distress Ink. But it was quite fun too. Think I will try to vary my coloring now. I do also own some Prismacolor pencils, and today I bought some new paper I hope will work better with the pencils....

Have not been scrapbooking since last weekend, hope to do something soon. This weekend I'm going away with some co workers, off to a cabin to do cross country skiing and having a nice time.

{Wiff of Joy Challenge Guest Designer call}

Over at Wiff of Joy Challenge blog the challenge this week is a Guest Design Team call, and the sketch is so nice. You find it here! I made 2 cards... with the same stamped image. I used Melissa Frances papers and embellishment (stickers) that I had left after a class at Bikuben last Autumn. Really lovely papers that I think suits the image quite well. The image is colored with distress ink. Also used some Prima flowers, and different punches and Nestablities.

My other card after the same sketch is also made with Melissa Frances papers and embellishment (sticker), also used pink pearls and Fiskars punch. My image is cut out with Nestablities.
Oh... I see that I forgot to color in the small flowers on the trousers... Well, think I publish this one anyway...
Thanks for looking! :) Have a nice weekend.

{Norsk Stempelblad AS}

In late January I found out that Norsk Stempelblad was going to release new stamps in the end of February/early March. They had this very good offer, to buy 4 and pay NOK 500. The value of each one is normally NOK 175, so it was a very good offer. So I preordered the stamps, and today when I opened the mailbox I found these beautiful stamps! I only had EZ Mount for one of them, so I have to buy more tomorrow. Really looking forward to play with these stamps later on, when my kid is in bed for the night!

{2 new cards}

I made this card for my boss' newborn daughter. The papers are Melissa Frances, which I got when I had a class at Bikuben last Autumn.
The stamp is Magnolia, and the sentiment stamp is Norsk Stempelblad AS, the corner stamp is Kreativ Hobby. Other supplies: Nestabilities, ribbon, distress ink and liquid pearl, word window punch and MS edge punch.

I hope my boss will be happy for this card. :)

Second card:
I used several days to finish this card... I am not very very satisfied... The stamp is new, bought last week, and is Magnolia. Just lovely, isn't she! Supplies: MS edge punch, Bazzil cardstock, Prima, bling, stickles glitter glue, distress ink, Nestabilities, word window punch, Cricut machin (for the small envelope and pink swirl), bling.

Have a nice Friday! :) And thanks for stopping by!

I'm not very good at scrapbooking layouts these days. One reason is that I have not had the time or effort to order new photos. The other is that cards are more exciting to make... I hope to finish a layout I have started on soon, just to let you know that I do make layouts as well.

{Magnolia card}

Here is a card I started making yesterday. I have used a Christmas Tilda, but I think she is good for any use. Click on the image to see a larger version.
I'm really into pink these days, I suppose it's because it's so pretty and makes me happy! :)
Other supplies: MS doily edge punch, ribbon, pearls, stamps from Kreativ Hobby, heart punch, distress ink. Paper from MM and craft cardstock from Bazzil. The image is colored with distress and H2O. Used a white pen to highlighten the image here and there. :) Thanks for visiting my blog, really appreciate a comment if you have the time to leave one! :)

Here's the inside (the other page is to write the message on, so I didn't take a photo of that one, since I've already written my message!). The small envelope is made with my Cricut machine. Isn't it adorable! The label is Nestablities. Just love them. Have 2 of them... want more. But have to wait now.

{ScRapp #2} - Ania

Over at Scrappemania Ania is ScRapped! The layout of Ania you find here. Think I found the perfect photo to use, this one is of myself and my sister. The photo is from Easter vacation - when we always left the city to visit our cabin in the mountains to go skiing. The paper is Prima, and just loved the retro feeling :).

{Wiff of Joy challenge blog #19}

Over at Wiff of Joy challenge blog, this week, you are supposed to make a card with 3 different patterned papers, 2 flowers and one brad or button.

(Ops! I see I have given this post a wrong name. It's supposed to be challenge #18, in stead of #19).

I chose to make this card with Melinda blowing kisses. The flowers are made with my retro flower punches, other than that I've used BG paper and MM paper. Hope my contribution is approved! :) I'm really into pink these days... sorry for all the pink cards! :)

Other supplies: pink and white cardstock from Bazzil, EK Success heart punches, Stampin' Up word window punch, sentiments from Norsk Stempelblad, McGill pine punch, brads, Martha Stewart doily edge punch, distress ink to color the image.

{Valentines Day card}

Yesterday was Valentines Day - and I made this envelope card, that I saw a template of in the last issue of Ett Trykk. The template is made by Bodil, and I have already made one of these before! But it's so nice to make, I think! So my husband got this card, with a little "love letter" inside. He also got a magazine he enjoys. In the evening we got a "sitter" and went out to eat. We ate at a "local" Thai restaurant. It was really nice food, and very popular. I'm glad we did reserve the table upfront, because there was at least 10 couples that didn't get a table!! Hope you all had a nice Valentines Day!

Suppleis: MM patterned paper, retro flower punch, Cuttlebug embossing folder (Swiss dots), Prima flowers, Prima say it in crystals, Martha Stewart edge punch, QK heart dies, ink, and ribbon.

{Playing in the snow}

Yesterday the weather was beautiful here in Oslo! Peder, his dad and I were out - first at a café eating food, milk, coffee and cake, then Peder and I went to use the toboggan. But first Peder wanted to walk in the snow. Since he got so tired from walking, we never got to use the toboggan. My son actually got cold on his hands through his woollen gloves. Poor kid. He was so exhausted that he fell asleep and slept for 2 hours. When the babysitter came, I had to wake him up. So today he slept 'till 08.30. Quite nice :).

The winter weather is so nice here now. Really appreciate all the snow! :)

Wiff of Joy card

I made this card with the lovely Melinda blowing kisses from WoJ. The stamps on the patterned paper is Stempelglede, and on the flowers as well. The sentiment stamp is from Kreativ Hobby. The patterned paper is from BG. Other supplies are pearls and "bling". Image colored with distress ink.

{Jul anno 1980 ca}

I made this one this week, and the photo is of me when I was about 7-8 years old (aprox.), and I'm dressed up like a cat... Some sort of Christmas celebrating party in school, I think.

{Class at Steffens}

Yesterday afternoon I went to Steffens to attend a card making class. The cards are really lovely. Just loved the first one! The colors were really fun to play with! :)

Supplies: Melinda (WoJ), Bo Bunny patterned paper, Prima say it in crystals, distress to color image, silver glitter glue.

Supplies: Crafty Individuals stamp, retro flower punch, Basic Grey patterned papers, distress ink to color image.

{A gift for a friend}

Yesterday I met a friend and wanted to give her something, because she is a dear friend, and also to cheer her up, she's been sick a lot lately, and feeling quite exhausted... So inside the bag there was some stamped images from WoJ, and a new WoJ stamp.

Here's the small card I made for her, as well:
