Another layout with photos from this early summer

Another layout made this last weekend. I used lovely papers from 3ndy papir, that I bought this spring. It's called "mormors hage". The small strip of paper is also 3ndy papir but it's some years old. Can't remember the name of the paper. I used my sewing machine around the paper edge this time. Used my distressing tool to distress the big photo on the layout as well. The flower is from Sassafrass Lass. Love it. Used some clear rock candy crackle paint on the button and the butterflies. :) There is a selfmade tag with some journaling underneath the photo.

{Whiff of Joy challenge sketch #86}

This weeks challenge at Whiff of Joy is to make something out of a sketch, made by Jane. A lovely sketch. I had already used my Tim Holtz alternations die and found some papers when I found out I wanted to give the sketch a try. I found this adorable small bonus stamp from WoJ to use with the papers that is a pad with different sewing design papers. I used my sewing machine to sew around the panels. The flowers are done with my retro flower punches (medium and small). The ribbon was already made and matched the green buttons in colour. I hope the card is okay for the challenge. Enjoy your day. :)

{A layout - finally! }

I have not made a layout in about 2 months or so, I think. Really bad... :(
But I found some photos from our holiday in Spain this evening. I used my homemade "glimmer mist" made with distress, water and mini misters. The alphabet is thickers from American crafts. I have been inspired by Gudrun, who designs 3ndy papir and Pia using the glimmer mist and the strips of paper and sewing.

{Kenny K card - Paper play challenge - pink to make the boys wink!}

Good morning to ya all! I think there is something seriously wrong with me today. I woke up at 4 a.m! Yes, and have not been able to sleep. At 5 a.m. I thought it was too annoying to still be in my bed, but not asleep, so I started the day. Slowly... Anyhow. This is a card I finished last evening. I coloured her with my Copics, and the papers are totally awesome, but can't remember the name - sorry! I think I should have bought the Kenny K girl with the ice cream, but this will hopefully be OK. This card is made by request. A co-worker has found here self a new job after 10 years. The best of luck to her in her new job! :) I used my sewing machine for the stiches, and other than that some bling. The sentiment is Norwegian, Norsk Stempelblad AS. And I got myself some fun flock, so the shoes and the top of her hat has a bit of fun! flock. :) Enjoy your day! I am entering this card for the Paper play challenges - Pink to make the boys wink! Thanks for winning last weeks price, girls. :) I am sooo happy!

Inspired by StampARTic - gesso resist

When I saw the tutorial at StampARTic blog, I knew I had to try this out at home. I started playing with gesso, but I did something wrong, and tossed the thing into my trash, then I took out this cool stamp from Tim Holtz, and used a dabber (gold). After it had dried, I used my mini misters with some distress ink and sprayed a bit here and there. Used some dabber in the corners also. The sentiment is a bit blurry, sorry, but it is Norwegian. I used my sewing machine on the card as well. Enjoy your weekend! :) TFL!

A Magnolia card!

I made this card yesterday, in between sitting outside drinking coffee and enjoying the sunny day :). The card is made with stamps from the Summer Magnolia kit. I masked to stamps together this time. I think the design paper is Papir i hjertet's own collection, but I am not totally sure. I am entering both Just Magnolia challenge, since my card is made after their sketch and Paper play challenge where the theme this week is "bon voyage". TFL! :) Enjoy your Monday evening!

Other supplies for this card are: Spellbinder tag(?), Prima flowers, MS leaf punch, Copics, bling, glitter glue (Stickles), organza ribbon, ink (Tim H), bazzil card stock.

LOTV challenge - 4 seasons

Over at LOTV challenge this week, the challenge is one of the 4 seasons. :) Here is my take on the challenge, and this time it's a Christmas card again! Actually my firth Christmas card since July... I used this beautiful bear, I think he is called Teddy, and he is absolutely adoring and a dream to colour in. I used mye Copic Sketch Markers as I usually do. This time I made a very easy card, and I like the result. Just white and red card stock (Bazzil), and an embossing folder from Cuttlebug. :) The sentiment is from North Star Stamps and is stamped on white card stock and punched out with Stampin' up punch (word window punch). I used some stickles (glitter glue) on Teddys hat. Enjoy your weekend. Here in Oslo the sun has finally found it's way back on the blue skies! :) TFL! :)

Vintageudfordring #4 - blomster!

Lily of the valley challenge blog #58

Over at LOTV Thursday challenge blog the challenge this week is to follow a sketch made by Bev. You can find the sketch here. I used a new Christmas stamp, I think this boy is soo adorable. I coloured him in with distress inks (I still have to practise using my distress inks since it's "ages" since I used them...). The design paper is Norwegian, I think it's 3ndy papir... have to double check to be sure. I used a Marvy Urchida punch to make the snowflakes. Applied some distress ink and glitter glue on them as well. The blue small flowers are Prima. Also used my MS border punch on this card. The sentiment is from Norsk Stempelblad AS.

A birthday card :)

I have made an easel card again. I actually began making this card in April (I think), but didn't finish it until today, it has been in my box of unfinished cards for all this time... I colored the bear with Prismacolor pencils. The card is for a girl who is turning 4 years old. The birthday bear is from Whiff of Joy. I am entering this card in Dutch Dare Card Challenges and the Paper play challenge, where the theme is "anything goes". :) Enjoy your evening. TFL! :)

A close up on the birthday bear: isn't he cute?

{whiff of Joy challenge #84 fuzzy!}

When Katharina had her summer sale in her shop a week ago, I ordered a couple of the City girls, this one is Willow with coffee to go. I am totally addicted to my morning coffee, and I buy mine in the local coffee shop at work. The guy who owns the coffee shop is very nice, and I always chat a word or two with him before I head upstairs to work! This card is a salute to him! :) I used some scrap paper on this one, don't remember brand names... Other than that I used my sewing machine, some brads with bling and a lace. My fuzzy are the felt is flowers that I have cut out from felt borders. The "Mmmm..." sentiment is from Elsie and the other sentiment text is from Norsk Stempelblad AS. Enjoy your Tuesday! :) TFL!

This is miss Thang! I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and Fancy Pants design paper on this card. {DT-bidrag Kort 'o' Mania utfordring #21 -fargeutfordring}
