{Wiff of Joy card - congratulations}

I started to make this card to the StampARTic challenge, to make a card not using bling, bought embellishments. But when I had adhered the flowers, I thought I make another card for the StampARTic challenge instead. Later ;). Today the weather is just beautiful here in Oslo, so we're going out now, to enjoy! My card is made with some scrap paper (Bazzil and Junkitz). Swirl and swiss dot embossing folders (Provocraft), bling, Prima bling swirls, Stampin' Up word window punch, text stamp from Norsk Stempelblad and the lovely stamped image is from Wiff of Joy. Image colored with ProMarkers. Used my Nesties here, as always! TFL! :-D

{hÄnglar card - Spring kit stamp}

This is a simple card from me.
I'm not sure if I'm satisfied, but anyway - here it is!

The papers are from my box of left over papers, and the stamped image is from hÄnglar's Spring kit. I have not used many of the images yet. The text stamp ("god sommer" which means "happy summer") is from Norsk Stempelblad AS, and the butterflie and bee is from Magnolia Spring Kit. I colored the stamp with ProMarkers. Really longing to get my hands on some Copics, they have a wider range of colors. I'm not sure if the two brands go togheter. If anyone knows, please leave a comment! :) TFL! By the way. Used Spellbinders and Fiskars circle punch on this card. The last small stamp is from Stempelglede.

{Wiff of Joy challenge #26 - color sheme}

I've been at home today, with my sick son. I used the opportunity to make a card for the challenge at Wiff of Joy challenge blog. This week the challenge is to use black and white, and one additional color of your own choice. I chose lavender. Used Willow with chocolate - been a while since last time I've used her. She's really adorable. Other supplies: Kaisercraft, SU ww punch, liquid pearls, QK tag and swirl, white ribbon and white cardstock. Used distress to color the image. The colors on Willow looks a bit grey, but it's quite hard to make it totally black! ;) Hope that's okay! TFL! :)

{Clear album - gift for my parents in law}

This is the first time I've tried to make a clear album! Wow, how fun that was. I made it for my parents in law, and the photos are of their son and grandson. Loved to work with the circles and it was fun, but a bit tricky to make the album. Photos are from 2008 and 2009. Photos I don't think they've got until now. Will give the album to them as soon as possible!

{STM - på norsk - Tar deg med storm} Ylvis!

Over at Scrapping the music - på norsk - the song to be scrapped is by Ylvis! I chose the phrase: "Tar deg med storm". No good translation in English....
The photo is from last years Spring, I think it's May 2008, and the weather was awesome! My son was playing in a small "pool" and he just wore shorts. Really hot! Papers from Kaisercraft, and other things I've uses are: mesh, MM, thickers, ghostshapes, alcohol ink, liquid pearl, glitter glue, white gel pen, tag, old book page, staple, white biggie pen, distress tool and chalk.

{Artsy card - inspired by Connie}

I made this card the other day, really inspired by Connie's class on making backgrounds with gesso, gel medium and acrylic paint! I used a clip out from 3ndy Papir's collection. Say it in Pearl, flowers, Stampin' Up punch, and text stamp from Norsk Stempelblad AS, and the swirls are from Autumn Leaves. I think ;). Used old book pages and pink acrylic paint from Claudine Helmuth. TFL!

{On the horse!}

My son in the park Saturday. He wanted to sit on a horse (statue). He gave me the biggest smile, and I took this photo with my mobile phone. Cute, isn't he? The weather was much better Sunday, but I didn't take any photos then, only my husband. I don't have any of those photos here. :) Enjoy your Easter holiday!

{WoJ #24 - get dirty: distress!}

Over at Wiff of Joy challenge blog this week they want you to get dirty! Distress! Well, I do like to distress once in a while, so i distressed edges with my distress tool from Tim Holtz, and used ink on the edges afterwards. The image is the new Guardian Angel collection, Melinda with muffin basket. Just love these images! :) I colored with Promarkers, used som glitter glue on the wings and muffins. Paper is from Bo Bunny, cardstock from Bazzil. Used my EK Success retro flower punches, and my Martha Stewart punch as well. The text says (in Norwegian) "get well soon". Other supplies are floss and some metal charms, liquid pearls on the flowers. TFL!

{A photo and 2 artsy cards}

This photo was taken of my son, eating sushi. He's got a funny expression on his face, but he actually loves sushi! Has been eating raw fish since he was only 6 months old! :) I'm quite proud when I see him jumps of joy when I mention we're going to have sushi for dinner!

Then a couple of cards. This first one was made after my first class with Connie. The class was so fun, and I ordered gel medium and acrylic paint immediately! The green background was made in that class with Connie. I used a stamp from Stampotique, also inspired by Connie. The stamp is soo cool. Other supplies are: black cardstock, bling, eylets, newspaper, medium and acrylic paint and distress ink (to color the image).

This card was made in class - also a class by Connie. Here we played with gesso, gel medium and transfer technique. Very funny to learn how to transfer photos. I will surely do that again. I did buy a lot of this cute photos from 3ndy papir at Scraporama2009. I added some liquid pearl on the flowers - that was not part of the class! TFL! And have a lovely weekend!

{Prima}donna class at Steffens!

April 28th I'm attending two classes at Steffens. The two lovely girls from Prima: Tracie Hudson and Jen Starr are having 4 different classes this day. Wow! Really looking forward to that. :)

This evening I was at a class at Steffens - the third class so far this Spring. Connie showed us how to make backgrounds with gesso, multi medium and some type om crayon (not that brand though) pencils. I liked the first two cards the most. I will post them tomorrow when there is sunlight to take photos in.
If you live in or nearby Oslo, be sure to attend the classes at Steffens! They are so fun! And I'm really looking forward to the Prima(donnas) later this April - and this is NOT a joke!
