{Kreativ Hobbys utfordring - 20 julekort!}

I made 3 cards for Kreativ Hobby's challenge. The challenge is to make at least 20 Christmas cards before December 15th! You also have to use at least one stamp from KH on the card, other than that you can use whichever stamp(s) and style you want. You also have to send one of the cards to KH before December 15th. The card you send, should only have KH stamps on it.

Here's my first:

Supplies: Bazzil, Cuttlebug embossing folder, acetat, embossing powder, stamp is from PiH - don't remember the name right now. The stamp from KH is "Tid for juleglede og omtanke". Sewing machine. Retro flower punch, Kaisercraft rhinestones. Ink.
Second:

Supplies: BG, punches, christmas ribbon, Queen&Co, Cricut machine (the die cut snowman), QK tag (revolution die), ink. The stamp from KH is "God Jul" on the tag.

Third:

Supplies:Vibeke Spigseth, QK nesting dies (hearts), white pen, EK Success corner punch, Bazzil kraft cardstock. The card is made after watching a tutorial on Jennifer McGuires blog. Two hearts put together, if you open the top, you can write something inside the heart).

{Kreativ Hobby - julekortutfordring}

{Wow!}

I just have to say: I'm amazed with all the superb things my Cricut can do! Now I'm cutting out 'Merry Christmas' for a lot of cards (probably so many that I can use them next year as well). I just selected 'autofill' and the machine calculated how many cuts it would make, and started cutting....

So fun, if you want to multiple your cards - it's quick and easy.
Hope you all have a nice evening. I've just tucked my son into bed, and have started scrapbooking. :)

{more cards}

Made some cards lately, that I wanted to publish.

The pink one, is of a sketch that I learnt in a class at Steffens. I'm going to give the card to a co-worker, who has anniversary this year (25 years at the same working place):

Supplies: MME, punches, Sarah Kay, ink, brads and stamped text.
Details (layered flower):

Supplies: Cricut (letters), white pen, stamp (Penny Black?), Bazzil, corner punch, button (star), floss. Stamped image colored with distress and Le Plume. Also used glitter glue on the stars to make 'em sparkle.

Supplies: don't remember the pattern paper, Bazzil kraft, punhes, Magnlia, embossing (silver). Cut out trees and glued with pop dots to make 3D effect.

Supplies: 3 different pattern paper (can't remember the brand - one is from Panduro), green Bazzil, white pen, Magnolia, embossed (silver), punhes.

Last Christmas card:

Cricut machine!!!

Yes, yes, yes! Look what I picked up at my Post Office today! :-D I'm the owner of a new diecut machine, called Cricut Expression. Looking forward to trying it out later this evening. It's supposed to be a Christmas present from my husband. Thank you, my darling. :)
I've ordered it from the US, and had to pay som customs (but it's much cheaper than buying it here anyway). Also bought an extra cartridge. Have to find a link for that later.

{Something new and something old...}

Here are some new layouts and cards I've been working on lately.

First a new layout. Used papers from S2M, Just lovely. The photos are taken when my son was only a few months old. You can see he's just a tiny baby, with "chubby" cheeks.

Supplies: S2M, MF, Cuttlebug embossing folder, QK nesting shapes (hearts), Jenni Bowlin, Prima, MM alfa stickers, ink, sewing machine, bling...
Details:

A flower in bloom: (not that easy to read all the text)

Supplies: pattern paper from Chatterbox, ribbon, QK nesting shapes (scalloped circles), MM alfa stickers, thickers, retro flower punch, white pen, brad, ink... and sewing machine.

This card was made yesterday. Bought a chipboard girls dress and used it as a pattern to make this card. You can open it up, and write something inside. Did think about giving it to a 13 year old, but I think it's too childish...

This last item was made for my working partner. He turned 40 this week. It's a "open up" card. Easy to make, but used a lot of time thinking how to decorate it. I seldom make cards for guys at 40...:

Supplies: Kaisercraft, Tim Holtz, liquid pearls, punch (scalloped), Bazzil, ink, stamp (birthday wishes) and screw brads!

{Melissa Frances class and some shopping!}

Yesterday, I went with Linda to Bikuben and attended a class by Carolyn Peeler from Melissa Frances. She was so nice, and really talented. You have to check out her blog here.

Anyway, we made a little card box, called Sincerely Yours, I have not had the time to take a photo yet, but will try tomorrow. Inside, there is space for cards, to eighter keep or give away. I think I will keep this one. But I did buy another box, that I will decorate with some pattern paper, and put into some cards and give away for a Christmas present this year.

Shopping... I did promise myself not to shop anything more this month... But, I got some unexpected money, so it's okay isn't it? I knew I was going to get some money back from too much paid tax on income, so when I received the letter from the tax office I was happily surprised. I got more than I expected.
I forgot to take a photo, but I will try to gather the things together and take a photo tomorrow.

Good night to you all! :)

{Friends card}

I made this card yesterday evening, just thought of a friend/relative of mine, who deserves a card in the mail. So here it is. The text stamped around the card says: "just a little thought". The stamp is from Norsk Stempelblad AS. Really nice stamps. I would like even more stamps from them. Think I have to wait a bit longer, as I promised myself to shop for no more than about 800 NOK this month. With yesterdays shopping, I've reached my limit! Oops!

The card is made with Hänglar stamps:

Supplies: Bazzil Kraft, EK Success retro flower punches, raindrops, Fancy Pants, Distress ink, stamp image colored with pencils using Gamsol.

{New layout and some shopping!}

I made this layout today, with a photo of my son. He's only some minutes old, when this photo was taken by my husband. Just love this photo! His hands were all cold almost blue. Click on the image to see a larger photo:

Shopping at Steffens and Panduro:

The retro flower punches were used at a class I attended earlier this Autumn by Siv, at Steffens. I wanted them, but couldn't afford them before now. The grungeboard from Holtz was really nice, and the blending stumps and EZ-Mount were bought at Panduro.

{Gjestedesigner #5 - Marianne Hope}

Marianne Hope er gjestedesigner hos ScrappeMania denne måneden. Hennes utfordring lyder:

Hjemmelaget: hjemmeheklet blomst (hvit).
