One year old girl card :)

Here comes another card from me. One of our "new" neighbours here were we have moved to, came by this afternoon and asked if we wanted to attend his little girl's birthday party. She is turning 1 years old tomorrow. I was looking through my box of cards, but didn't have anything for small girls. I guess I know what to make now. I don't want to come to the party without anything, so I have to pop out in lunch at work tomorrow to buy something for the sweet girl. I am not very certain of the name, I think her name is Nora. Anyhow, I made this card with a stamp from Wee stamps (digital). Lovely. I think I first saw Bev Rochester use a digi stamp like this one. Lovely! :) Enjoy your week :)

A birthday card for Kirsten!

Here comes another card from me. I don't get enough time to craft these days. This was a birthday card, I just had to make, otherwise I wouldn't have done it, I think. The recipient loves the simple things in life, like coffee, chocolate and animals that you find in Africa. She is very, very dedicated to helping poor people in Africa. She is leading projects aka. building pig farms and building school for deaf children. She is a very nice person that is always giving from her heart. Happy birthday, Kirsten!

{Birthday card for my husband}

Here is a birthday card I made for my dear husband who turned 40 years yesterday. He is still in hospital. Since he is still very weak, and not in the best shape, he didn't get very excited when I gave him the card, but he was even more touched by the words written inside that I read for him :).
I think the girl on the front of the card would be me in my next life ;). I wish I had that kind of body. My husband is now breathing on his own, and he is recovering slowly. Hopefully he will be better for each day forward. I know the recovery will take time, and I am trying to be patient. I love him so very much!
Enjoy your day! Thanks for stopping by. :)

Some news and a birthday card

First I want to share some news. I have a good reason for not have been blogging these past days. My husband is seriously ill, and was brought to hospital September 2, last week. He had been feeling ill a day with some fever, and when I found him Thursday morning at 6 a.m. he was in very bad condition. I rang the emergency call number and an ambulance came for him. These last days have been really terrible. I have had a lot of family and friends helping me, thanks a lot! My husband is still very sick, and is in the intensive care unit at the hospital. I hope he will be better soon, but I have no guaranties. He's whole body is infected and he's fighting for his life. It has been totally unreal to experience this. My husband had been feeling so healthy and in good condition prior to this. Feeling fit and exercising a lot. I hope and pray that he will be OK, even though I know it will take time.

My mum is getting 70 years old, very soon. I have made her this card. Inside is a gift card so she can buy herself something nice. Because of everything happening now, I am not sure when I will be posting something new. Hope it is very soon. My thoughts are somewhere else, as you probably will understand.

Details:

Papers is 3ndy papir, stamp is ? stamped on glossy paper. Used my sewing machine on all the panels, and a new punch from MS. Some self adheisive pearls and stickers (numbers).

A birthday card :)

I have made an easel card again. I actually began making this card in April (I think), but didn't finish it until today, it has been in my box of unfinished cards for all this time... I colored the bear with Prismacolor pencils. The card is for a girl who is turning 4 years old. The birthday bear is from Whiff of Joy. I am entering this card in Dutch Dare Card Challenges and the Paper play challenge, where the theme is "anything goes". :) Enjoy your evening. TFL! :)

{Another easel card!}

Yesterday my husband and I went to eat out and to see a film, it was the last day for "Departures" a Japanese film from last year. It was funny, sad and a good story. If you get the chance to see it, do so. I think the film got an Oscar for best foreign story.
I have also made another easel card, this time it was a co-worker who needed a card for her nephew. I can't remember the dp,it was in my Christmas calendar last year. :) Other supplies are: text stamp Kreativ Hobby, Norsk Stempelblad AS, brads, Spellbinder dies. Can't remember the stamp, it's a clear stamp. Have a nice Friday everyone! :)

{Some new cards!}

Even though I have not had time to update here on my blog lately, and it's been a busy week with a trip to Amsterdam last weekend and some days away with my work, I have to admit I have made some cards lately. They have been made the last 3-4 weeks, so I don't make so many these days.
The first one is made with a beautiful stamps from North Star Stamps. The frame is a Spellbinder frame. The paper is from last year, I think it's Scrappers Choice.

This card is with a stamp from Wiff of Joy, with a gnome. I think he's rather cute. The bling on the tree is something I have borrowed from another blog, I think it's Wiff of Joy challenge blog. The text is rub ons from Norsk Stempelblad as.

This card is made with an old Magnolia stamp, it's probably 2-3 years old. I think she's rather cute. The frame is a Spellbinder. The corner stamp is North Star stamp. Text stamp is from Norsk Stempelblad as.

This last card is to a friend of mine, who turned 40 years last month! I am very late with sending her the card and the present, but I hope she will forgive me... :) the stamp is from Ladybug and Friends, the text stamps are from Kreativ Hobby.
