Artsy kort/artsy card

Her kommer et kort som jeg begynte på for over 1 uke siden. Kortet er laget med hjemmelaget bakgrunn. Jeg har stemplet med gesso, og så brukt rosa hjemmelaget glimmermist som jeg har sprayet på. Det ble dessverre ikke så fint som jeg ønsket, derfor har jeg skjult mesteparten av bakgrunnen med bl.a. en Tim Holtz fuglebur, og hans alternations edge. Jeg har brukt gulldabber til å lage fuglen gullfarget. Fjæren har jeg enten kjøpt i en pose, eller jeg har fått den. Tror kanskje jeg har fått den av Linda. Buret, kanten og basen på kortet er kraftkartong. Buret er inket med "rusty hinge"-pad fra Tim Holtz, og kanten har fått vintage photo-farge på seg. Ellers er pynten enkel og grei.

{A new card}

I was asked to make a card for a man who is celebrating 40 years employment in the same company. :) It's inspired by kreativ hobby. I used alcohol inks and canned air. The stamps are Paperbag studios and Stempelglede.

{Artsy card - inspired by Connie}

I made this card the other day, really inspired by Connie's class on making backgrounds with gesso, gel medium and acrylic paint! I used a clip out from 3ndy Papir's collection. Say it in Pearl, flowers, Stampin' Up punch, and text stamp from Norsk Stempelblad AS, and the swirls are from Autumn Leaves. I think ;). Used old book pages and pink acrylic paint from Claudine Helmuth. TFL!

This photo was taken of my son, eating sushi. He's got a funny expression on his face, but he actually loves sushi! Has been eating raw fish since he was only 6 months old! :) I'm quite proud when I see him jumps of joy when I mention we're going to have sushi for dinner!

Then a couple of cards. This first one was made after my first class with Connie. The class was so fun, and I ordered gel medium and acrylic paint immediately! The green background was made in that class with Connie. I used a stamp from Stampotique, also inspired by Connie. The stamp is soo cool. Other supplies are: black cardstock, bling, eylets, newspaper, medium and acrylic paint and distress ink (to color the image).

This card was made in class - also a class by Connie. Here we played with gesso, gel medium and transfer technique. Very funny to learn how to transfer photos. I will surely do that again. I did buy a lot of this cute photos from 3ndy papir at Scraporama2009. I added some liquid pearl on the flowers - that was not part of the class! TFL! And have a lovely weekend!

2 new cards

I really enjoy to make my own backgrounds after attending a class at Steffens with Connie, a couple of weeks ago. this card was made with distress on watercolor paper. The stamp is from Paperbag studios. Really nice - don't you think! I bought 2 sets of this stamps about 6 months ago, and have not been good at useing them. I stamped on glossy paper, and colored with nibs and a small sponge. The text stamp is from Kreativ Hobby, and the other stamp is from Stempelglede (grunge collection).

This other card is with Magnolia, from the new Spring kit. It's so lovely, don't you think? The image is colored with Promarkers. Other supplies are: MM paper, Stampin' Up punch, bling, MS punch, buttons, floss, EK Success circle punch and Nestabilities.

After attending the class with Connie last week, I really was inspired to make my own background on cards, and not just only make cards with patterned paper I have bought. So I made this background last evening, and finished the card today. The stamp is one of my new favorite stamps. The other stamp is from Stempelglede (grunge collection) - it's so vertisale! The text stamp is also new, from Norsk Stempelblad. The paint is MM and some hobby paint from Panduro (cheap one, I think).

The card made in class is this one. A bit plain, but I've mounted the card so I can't really undo it! The stamp was Connies, and it's Tim Holtz, really nice one! :)

I just had to order some paint, thank's to Connie! So today I ordered a lot of acrylic paint... but I got my paycheck today - so it's okay ;).

This card was made at a class as Steffens - and that was a really fun class! We all played a lot, and the results were quite stunning!

This one was made with Distress ink refills, and watercolor paper together with baby wipes. Cool eh?

I made this card this weekend, after the class last week. The result wasn't that good, because I forgot the baby wipes. But it turned out ok. The stamp is my friends, and it's just lovely! The stamp in the corner is Grunge collection by Stempelglede.













This was made after the class last week. The card I made in class was quite bad, so I made a new one instead. It's made with distress and water in small spray bottles and Glad pack. When it gets dry, it turns out quite funky! The stamp is my friends. I think it's Fancy Pants.















I also made this card during the weekend. The card is an "oldie" card with 'oldis' stamp from Kreativ Hobby's own design. I love this stamp, which I got in a blog candy from the store. I do love my Magnolias, WoJ, Hänglar stamps too, but this one is so different. Just have to use it more! I bought the paper earlier in February, can't recall the name/producer.

I made another card at the class but I have forgotten to take a photo of it. Will try tomorrow if the sunlight is still there when I return back from work in the afternoon.
