{Sukkersøtt #51 and Wiff of Joy challenge #46}

At Sukkersøtt the challenge is to mask at least 3 stamps this week. I chose to ink up 3 of my Wiff of Joy stamps from the fall kit! Here is my entry! I used Cosmo design paper (both sides). The leaves are a bit big, they are QK. I think Oakley is very cute, sitting on top of a mushroom :). I am also entering this card into this weeks WoJ challenge blog. My second entry for this week! TFL! :)

{Sukkersøtt # 33 - clean and simple} - 2 entries!

Over at Sukkersøtt the challenge this week is to make a card that's clean and simple. Most cardmakers in Scandinavia use a lot of embellishments, like flowers, lots of layers and use the vintage style a lot.
This first card here was made on Saturday, when I was with a good friend. A cropnight at her place :). The stamp is Shorty'n' friends made by Anneline Nyvold, really cool image, don't you think. It's a kinda Manga look! I colored the image with my Promarkers, I see now that one has to practice a lot, the same as coloring with other techniques (like distress inks or Prismacolors). The paper is some scrap paper from my friend, since I didn't bring any papers with me on the crop night we had! Thanks, Linda! The round text stamp is from Kreativ Hobby, and the other just beneath the stamped image is from Norsk Stempelblad AS. Translated to English the text is: The thoughest boy in the street!

The other card is a card I'm going to send to a co-worker, she and her husband have been married for 25 years this April. I thought the image by Stampavie was excellent! Other supplies are: say it in crystals (pearl), nestabilities, ribbon. Inside the card I have used a text stamp by Norsk Stempelblad. The papers are really old, I don't remember the brand.

Challenge at Sukkersøtt!

At Sukkersøtt they have this challenge going this Christmas. It's a sort of calender challenge, with a new task each day from the 1st of December until the 24th. The challenge finishes on January 4th 2009. I will try to finish more of the tasks until then, here's what I've accomplished:

The challenge on December 1st is to make a card with a window to open. This is my try (inside the window the text is "a girl - congrats!":

Card with window closed:

On December second the challenge was to make your own background on the card. I stamped the paper (water color paper) with distress ink and used a spray bottle with water to make some "water stains":

The challenge for December 3rd was to make a card in white, beige tones. This is my try:

The challenge on December 6th is to make tags for Christmas presentes:

The challenge for day 12 in December is to make a card with hearts on, here's mine:

The challenge for December 13th was to make a card inspired by St. Lucia. Here's my card:

The challenge for December 15th is to make a card with "maskerings-teknikk":

On December 16th the challenge was to make a card with stars on it. My card has stars on the patterned paper:

The challenge on December 19th is to make a card without a stamped image. So I used patterned paper from Scrappers Choice, and the letters are cut out with my Cricut. Other embellishments are Prima flowers and some bling!:

The challenge on December 20th is to make a card with alfa sticker letters on instead of stamped text. The card says "congratulations with the boy":

Some of these cards are already published here, but I thought it was better to gather them together now.

Thanks for looking and have a really nice New Years Eve!!!

Sukkersøtt kalender utfordring #12

Sukkersøtt has this challenge going, a countdown for Christmas. Each day has a new challenge. Well, this day number twelve, has only one requirement: hearts! So my card is pink, and filled with 3 cards and a bird. The bird is a cut out from a patterned paper. Other supplies: Bazzil kraft, American Crafts stickers (numbers), and ink. The card was made for a co workers birthday this month.

The card is folded after looking at Camillas beautiful cards!

{Sukkersøtt challenge "20 gjestedesigner #6}

On Sukkersøtt there is a challenge this week. The challenges are to use a snowman on the card, the card should have blue on it. So here's my card. I used patterned paper from 3ndy Papir, and the stamped image is from Kreativ Hobby, the stamped text is also Kreativ Hobby design. The big blue snowflake, is painted with crackle paint (blue). Used some bling-bling in the corners as well. Thanks for looking!

Sukkersøtt kalender utfordring # 7

Made this Christmas card for Sukkersøtt's Christmas calender challenge. The challenge is to make a Christmas card with black and white. I did cheat and used a bit silver also. I hope my card is approved. The stamped image is Tilda on a present, but I cut out the present.

Thanks for looking!

Sukkersøtt kalender utfordring # 3

This card is made with the "sprut og gnikk"-metoden (splash and rub method). I stamped with distress ink on watercolor paper, and then used a mini water spray bottle with water on the paper. After it was dry, I stamped an image (Paperbag studios) with black ink, and put on some embellishments. The card is for a co worker who's turing 40 this month.
