Scrapping the music - på norsk, has a bonus challenge this weekend! The challenge is to be inspired by Vibekes layout, you find her layout here. I find inspiration in her use of "bølgepapp", and the tag (hidden behind the photo). And also using the border punch around the entire edge of the layout. This is a really clean and simple layout! :) TFL!

{kaffebart}
A new layout from me. When we were in Vietnam, our son got to taste some vietnamese ice coffee, which is very very sweet. He loved it! He got himself a moustache. As you can see here. I thought he was cute. The retro flower is inspired by a stampARTic tutorial. You can see that one here. The coffee beans are from my kitchen since I always buy coffee beans and make my own fresh coffee. TFL! :)

{Wiff of Joy challenge #45}
I received these gorgeous stamps from the fall kit a while back. They are really beautiful, each and everyone of them. Well, here is my entry for this weeks Wiff of Joy challenge blog. This week the challenge is to include bling! on your card. This card is quite simple. I colored with Copics, and the design paper is something really, really old, I found in my drawer. I don't have the name of the brand. TFL! :) The text stamp is from a Norwegian company called Norsk Stempelblad AS.

{A new card}
I was asked to make a card for a man who is celebrating 40 years employment in the same company. :) It's inspired by kreativ hobby. I used alcohol inks and canned air. The stamps are Paperbag studios and Stempelglede.

{Wiff of Joy fall kit!}
Friday Katharina posted on her blog that the WoJ team had already packed and started shipping the fall kit, and today my kit arrived! :) I have not had time to ink any of them up, but will do that asap! They are just adorable, each and everyone. I love them! :-D Here you can find an example of a card with one of the stamps. The stamps in the kit will be on sale from August 24th in the WoJ store. (I put some watermarks on the scanned photo above.)

[The Greeting Farm card}
I made this card for my boss, who is leaving us for another job. He is very talented and has a lot of skills and I know he will do very well in his new job as well. My co-workers and I wanted to give him a present, just from us, so I had to make another card for him in addition to the one I made last week. I forgot to take a photo of that one. He will also get a card and a gift from the department. The papers are BG, and the star is "stamped" with alcohol ink. The image is Ian from The Greeting Farm, and he is colored with copics sketch markers. TFL! :)

{Liten soldat + julekort}
I am posting one new layout (and a Christmas card) this time. The card was perfect for a copics challenge, but I don't bother to enter this time, maybe next time ;). The photo from my layout was taken in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. He climped up a pretty steep hill to a monument at the Kiem lake. He sat there very serious. I think it was perfect for the type of layout.
Yet another Christmas card, not the last you will see here...: I used some glitter glue and a very easy layout this time! :)

{Wall decor!}
I made this layout with an old photo om my sister and I. Unfortunately we don't connect very well, and have not for a very long time. It's a long and complicated story behind that. But I do have a lot of good memories of us when we were young. This photo is probably from very early 1980's. We were playing in our garden and my mom always bought us the similar clothes, as you can see for yourself. Maybe I will send her this wall decor some day... I used chipboard that I primed with Gesso, before I glued the design paper and put on the photo and embellishments. The design paper is distressed, and I also used my sewing machine around the edges. I put a ribbon in the holes I punched so I can hang it on the wall in my crafting room. The colors chosen for this decor are orange, pink, green, blue and white. Colors of the 80's!
{Christmas cards!}
Last August (2008) I started making last years Christmas cards. This years is going to be as good as last year, so I start early with my cards! Here are two. The one with hÄnglar stamp is the one I'm not very pleased with, but I think I will send it anyway... I have not purchased any stamps for this year Christmas collection, but I know I will be tempted when new stamps arrive in the shops.... The Tilda stamp from Magnolia is one of my favorite Christmas stamps. And I colored her with Copics. The hÄnglar stamp is colored with distress ink. TFL! :)

{ScrappeHuset - utfordring American Crafts og lag-på-lag}
{Scrapping the music - på norsk!} - Stilleste gutt på sovesal...
With this layout I am entering the Scrapping the music - på norsk - competition. The song is by Lillebjørn Nilsen "Stilleste gutt på sovesal 1". The photo is taken on board on the train from Da Nang to Nha Trang in Vietnam this summer! Not quite the same standard as in Norway. The layout is called "ombord på toget". The money behind the flower is Vietnamese currency (dong) and 200Dong is about 10 Norwegian øre.
{Wiff of Joy challenge #42}
It's been some months since I last entered a card for the Wiff Of Joy Challenge. I received some new stamps from WoJ over a week ago, I inked this cute elephant up quite quick, but didn't make any card with it until yesterday evening. I found a beautiful sketch on WoJ challenge blog by Jacqui! The design paper is from a Norwegian company called 3ndy papir (trendy paper). The stamped image is of course Wiff of Joy - new stamps released 2 weeks ago when WoJ had their first year anniversary! The text stamp is from Norsk Stempelblad! TFL! :) Have a nice Sunday!

{Aah!}
Another layout from me, with a photo from our holiday. The photo is taken on a boat trip we had on Halong Bay, Vietnam. We got a drink when we were all on board. My son got some apple juice.
Once again I used a mask from Tim Holtz, I also used some distress ink (peeled paint) mixed with some glimmer (you can't actually see that on the photo I think). I used crackle paint around the page. TFL! :)

{Badeengel}
Here's the first layout I have made in my new craft room! The photo is taken in Bangkok, Thailand, where we spent 3 (almost 4 days) nights during our holiday. We used the pool a lot! My son just loved it! (Can't you see?)
I used a mask from Tim Holtz, that I have not been able to use before, because I didn't know it was made out of clear plastic. I couldn't find out how to de-attach it from the package it came in... But after watching a You Tube-video this evening I found out how to use it. I used distress ink (Broken China) on the mask. I have also fallen in love with Tim Holtz new stapler, the staples are so tiny but perfect to use on layouts and cards! :-D I used it to fasten the ribbon.

{My crafting room!}
Then finally...! My craft room is finished.
This week (Thursday) the company had two men working from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. They worked hard all day :). We used the day after to start painting, and I finished painting Saturday evening 9 a.m. The room is white, to make it look bigger and to give more light! This morning I started to "move in", it took some hours to get organized. I have used a litte time this evening crafting, but I hope to do more tomorrow after work!
The room is small, but it's all mine, and it's filled with only crafting stuff!! I hope to get a couple of more items to hang punches on, have to get to IKEA to buy that. Also I want some small buckets to have my Copics in (hanging on the wall). I know that IKEA has that as well.
Here's a photo of before (you can se where the door opening was; the dark spot in the photo).
And here is a collage of the finished room. The upper photo on the left hand side is of my craft table, and a bookshelf. I have one singel shelf over my table as well. The next photo (upper, left hand side) is of a Expedit bookshelf from IKEA. A friend of my husband donated it to us! In that shelf (actually is also a room divider) I have a lot of my supplies, as QK dies, albums, design papers. On top of the shelf I have put some cards for decoration. Also my itouch in a speaker ;-D.
The next photo showes my craft table. I don't have a lot of good light yet, but I do have a OTT lite! I bought it in Bangkok for about 400NOK. The last photo shows my Cricut-machine.
