Finally a new layout from me. It's been a while since I made one. I really enjoyed making this one. The photo is from our holiday in Vietnam, and the photo was taken when we visited our sponsor child (Plan international). A very nice visit, but a very hot day! I'm inspired by other scrapbookers that lately have been using glimmer mist on their layout, so here is my first layout with only glimmer mist and other embellishment. No design paper ;-D. Click on the photo to get a larger image. TFL! :)
And... since I'm totally addicted to my Copics, I will very soon put my Promarkers out for sale! I will give a reduction on the retailer price (here in Norway it's about $4,82). I have quite a wide range of markers (I have 45 different markers in: skin tones, blue, green, red, pink, brown, yellow, purple and grey. So if anyones interested please let me know! My e-mail adress is on the right sidebar. Or leave a comment here in this post!

{Wiff of Joy card}
When I was away, a co-worker of mine got her second son. I made this card for her. Quite simple, but the image itself does a lot, I think. I will give it to her as soon as she will visit.
The stamp is from the Woman's delight/Wedding collection. Other supplies are: Cuttlebug embossing folder, flowers, stamp (totally perfect), ribbon and "bling", eyelet, Tim Holtz jump rings and charm. TFL!

{A Gorjuss card}
I'm back with this card!!
The folding technique is taken from somebody's blog. Here you can find the tutorial!
The stamp was ordered before I left for my holiday, and I now own 3 Gorjuss stamps. This is the first I've made a card with. I love this one. :-D I used Copics to color the image. I actually found a shop in a shopping mall in Bangkok the last day of our holiday (in a mall called Central World). I saw a big poster that said "Copics" and went inside. The price was also really nice. It was about 3$ for a Copic Sketch Marker marker which is about half price of what I have to pay to get these goodies to Norway (import and paying VAT). I bought 30 new Copics and now own about 60 of these markers!
Inside the card. I used the same stamp, and also a text stamp from Norsk Stempelblad AS. I used my Marvy Urchida punches for the scallop and circle.
A close-up on the image - she is lovely! :)

{Back from holiday!}
After uploading photos from my camera (some other photos are on the other camera though), I changed this post to add these photos from our holiday.
This first one is from Hoi An, Vietnam. My son and husband in the pool the evening we arrived.
This second photo is from a small village 2 hour drive with car from Hanoi, Vietnam. Peder has borrowed a traditional hat made in Vietnam. Isn't he cute! :)
The third photo is from Ha Long Bay, Vietnam. The bay is on UNICEF (?) heritage list.
The last photo is also from Halong Bay. The photo is of the largest floathing "city". People is born and live their whole life here. The nature is totally perfect, and we were lucky, because it's rain season - and right after we left the weather turned bad. We had a lovely day and night on a boat called Emeraude.
As you can see, we are back from our 3 weeks of holiday, which we spent in Bangkok (3 nights and 4 days) and the remaining weeks were in Vietnam (Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang and Saigon).
It was lots of fun, and also some challenges. I will post some pictures when I get time to upload them (first I have to transfer them to the computer). Done!
The weather was both nice, and rainy (since it is rain season in both Thailand and Vietnam now).
When we arrived home today, around 9 a.m. I hoped my scrap room was finished (except for the painting of the walls), but unfortunately the company didn't have enough time... I talked to one of the managers, and he promised me they will start Wednesday next week. A bit disapointed not to have my room finished, but nothing to to about it. The worst part is all the time we used before we left for our vacation to pack away all the things, and now it looks like we are on the move, 'coz everything is packed into one corner in our livingroom ;-D.
Hope to bring you some photos of the room next week, though. Until then I have to scrapbook in our bed room. I have a bit of a jet lag, but hope I will manage some scrapbooing soon! :-D
It's nice to be back, although I know I will miss a lot of things from our holiday. Especially the food. I love vietnamese food. :-D
