{New header} and a halloween card!

I haven't been too creative these last days. Been outside and away from my scrapbooking stuff last weekend, and yesterday I got ill (again). Last week I had a cold, was really tired, but got to scrapbook some cards.

So this afternoon I have made myself a new header (tired of the old one), and earlier today I made the very first Halloween card I've ever made. Thought it was quite nice, very simple though.

{Birthday present!} and some "knitted flowers"

I actually got all this stuff from my friend, when I visited her last weekend. Yes! :) I was surprised and really happy when I opened the present. Lots of papers from Scrappers Choice. OMG! So nice papers. And the other side of the papers are as lovely as them shown here.

MM mini alfa stickers, alfa stickers from Jenni Bowlin and Bazzil Chips:

My friend learnt me how to knit (hekle) flowers. With some different sizes of the needle and yarn, here is my result:

More shopping....!!!

Oh yes! Did some shopping again this weekend! Went to visit my friend this weekend, and she was really happy for the card by the way.

Visited Papir i Hjertet in Porsgrunn and here are what I bought:

Around the block writer (kind of like the Dymo I have), scissors, flowers, ink, clearstamps, alfa, pen (black).

Thickers in black and white and silver. And some alfa stickers in black.

A bad photo, but alfa stickers, bazzil and something called wood easel.

{Folding card}

Here's another card *LOL* made last evening. The card took a long time to make. A lot of measurements. Had to be accurate with my ruler.
I'm giving this card to my friend, whom my son and I will visit this weekend. She's soo sweet. Really love her a lot. The stamp is one that I got to buy from Anne Bente (finally I mounted them...). It's so lovely (looks like Sarah Kay I think). Used my new H20 twinkeling paint. Love them!

Supplies: 3ndy Papir, Gudrun L, Bazzil, and some fasteners I can't remember the name of. Heart brads and Prima flowers. Paint: distress ink and H20 water color paint. Love the shimmering paint...

Outside details:

Inside detail:

The stamp was bought in April at Scrappemessa. It's from Elise Meling (I think her name is):

And I'm going to buy a small chocolate to put inside the card, with some photos from last time I visited my friend. :)

Honeymoon {Barcelona}

This was made for my wedding album. It's from our honeymoon in Barcelona. Even though I was 7 months pregnant (ooops!), I enjoyed both the wedding and the honeymoon very much! The wedding was in the Norwegian Sailor Church (or what it's called...). And the honeymoon trip was really nice. 5 days at a 5-star hotel in the harbor in Barcelona. Lots of visits to see Gaudí art everywhere around the city.

Layout supplies: yellow Bazzil, MM map (pattern paper), Scenic Route journaling tag, BG alfa stickers, MM mini alfa stickers, Bazzil chipboard arrows and Dottie Ann, Also used my sewing machine, stapler, and ink!

Thanks for looking!

New cards!

I've made quite a lot of cards lately. So my layout production haven't been that big, really. But anyway. Here's my cards:

Used my circle cutter to make the circles in this card. Quite easy, when I figured out how it works... Especially the measurement.

This card is made with my circle cutter (Fiskars). Loved the pattern papers. Quite pinkish! ;)
The Magnolia stamp is one that I "stole" when I went to class at Steffens last week. Also used my Fiskars circle border punch.

One sweet blog award!

I got this award from Vibeke.

She wrote this sweet comment:
Legger alltid igjen de koseligste kommentarene:) Og har utviklet scrappestilen enormt den siste tiden!!! Takk for all den inspirasjonen du har gitt meg inne på Mammanett:)

I'm supposed to give this to 5 others.

These are:
Anne Bente: She always has a nice comment - and is a frequent visitor on my blog. Always has something nice to say!
Vibeke: She always has some time to visit each and everyone of you and leave a nice comment. Also she has the capability to change her layouts a lot. She's not "trapped" in one kind of style.
Linda: She's such a sweet girl, always with some nice comment to give, on my layouts and photos, or cards. She's a very good friend. Really appreciates her. She's a really talented scrapbooker and cardmaker as well :-D.
Nina: She's a really good scrapbooker, has changed her style a bit lately, but I think it's suits her fine :). She's one of the best photographers - and you really can see that on her layouts. Finds time to visit each and everyone of us here in the "blog world"!
Last but not least:
Karina: She's quite a new talent - started in January 2008. But I think she's very good, she makes layouts and cards - and you should visit her blog! She always has a nice comment to leave in my blog.

There are so many nice bloggers out there, talented scrapbookers, you should have received this all of you. But for now. These girls above was chosen. It's always nice to read you comments, and I love to visit your blogs to comment your work as well!

{More cards}

Some cards...:

A friend of mine got her third girl yesterday. Here's a card I made for her little baby girl... Hope I'll see her soon. Hopefully in a couple of weeks.

The kind of folding card I was taught in class at Steffens. Made this with FancyPants pattern paper, used my QK dies to make the "flower", and also used Prima with raindrops and glitter glue. The card inside is made with BG pattern paper. Have no clue to whom I will give this to, or what occasion...

Another xmas card. This is my 13th card... think I'll be finished in time. ;) The pattern paper is last years Christmas pattern paper from ?... Love my new Fiskars punch!

I've also made a couple of other cards, but can't publish them yet. Will do quite soon.

{Journaling utfordring } hos ScrappeMania!

Ps!

2 new cards - inspired by class at Steffens

After the class at Steffens Hobby AS last week I've made two cards that look quite like the two I made. Different pattern paper, and colors.

Used pattern paper by Cosmo Cricket, Sarah Kay stamp (just love these stamps...), my Cuttlebug flower dies, some rhinestones. Stamp image colored with distress ink.

Pattern paper by 3ndy paper, ticket stamp, Prima flowers, Fiskars punch, some bling. Can't remember the name of the pattern paper (brown). Stamp is by Paperbag Studios - lovely! Image colored with distress ink and is stamped on glossy paper. A nice technique.

A trip to the forest :)

Visited some friends of ours yesterday. The weather was beautiful, and the forest was even more splendid!

ScrappeHuset - Alt om Cathrine Angelica

Here is my layout for the challenge that Cathrine Angelica has for ScrappeHuset! The layout has to have flowers, be vintage-inspired and have a song title for at title. The song is supposed be important for you.

I chose "For all the right reasons" by The Jayhawks, a country rock inspired band (that not longer exists). Lovely songs and song titles. The song has a great place in my husband and myselfs hearts.

Hope you like it!

I used papers from BG, Prima flowers, brad, ribbon, my sewing machine, stamp, BG rubons, 7Gypsies stamp, MM minialfas and thickers from AC.

Some new photos

Went out to play today, my son and I. My husband left with a friend to look at televisions. So today we bought a new telly. Actually not in the electric store, but on the internet. A huge Panasonic 42 inches plasma television. I hope it's good, because it's soo big. Our telly is 29 inches... I think it's big enough.

Well. My son and I went out to play. Here are som photos. The photos are taken with my Canon EOS 450 D camera. I just love it!! And I have been taught some tricks today. I will bring the camera with me tomorrow when we're off to the forrest with some friends. First we'll eat lunch, and then we're supposed to go out in the forrest.

My husband! Isn't he handsome :).

My son borrowing a tractor from someone...

Very consentrated on the driving....

Playing with sand...

{More shopping...! :-D}

Oh yes! This time my Mastercard was in good use ;):

I bought some pattern paper, two sets of stamps from Paperbag Studios. They're just lovely. Some angels, 3-D foam, EZ Mount sheets to store EZMount stamps, some envelopes for my Xmas cards and a palette from panduro to put my ink on when I paint.

Isn't these stamps just wonderful!

And these have I been waiting for since the beginning of September. They're in Norwegian, and are perfect for those cards....! Love em!

Looking forward to later tonight when my son is all tucked in bed. :-D

{Some new cards!}

Have not had enough time this week to make layouts. Been really busy. Last evening I went to a scrapbookingstore in Oslo, where I had this class in stamping techniques.

So here are the results:

This first card was made in class last evening. It's stamped on glossy paper, and then painted with distress ink. It was really fun!

This was a bit tricky to make. But fun! I loved the retro punch (flowers). Didn't buy it... yet! ;)
The Magnolia stamp is sooo nice:

Christmas card made this week. Used my sewing machine ;):

More Christmas cards:

And the last card is a criss cross Christmas card, I made this on Wednesday when I went scrapbooking with a friend of mine. :):
