Bind-It-All Projects!

This was the first project I made yesterday. With my name on it. I thought I'd use it on my holiday, writing down things that happens, and maybe some good ideas. Well, we'll see!

This little one was also made yesterday. Inside I'll just put photos of people I love, like my family, extended family and so on.
The good thing about the machine is that one can use leftover scraps, I have a lot of pattern paper and other cardstock in a big pile (box) here. The pattern paper on this last little book was made with some leftover scraps. And a new QK tag. I've wanted this QK for a long time, seen it on others LO and projects, it's so nice. Don't you think!

Almost there!....

... supposed to be in Spain now, but unfortunately we're not! Sterling (airlines) messed things up, well that's what I think! They did'nt change gate, the lady told, me, but still, the gate closed, the plane took off without us! Do you believe us, I said. We sat there all the time, waiting for boarding. And the luggage, well it's all in Spain!

Thank God, she gave me new tickets for this afternoon flight, no charge! I think that's the least she would do for us. I was totally devastated when I looked at the list and it said: "gate closed". I still don't understand how everyone else got to the airplane. Because the gate was the same all the time.

So hopefully we'll get there tonight. One day late, and one day less in the sun. But shit! I am happy I'm going anywere.

The good thing, is that I got the chance to try my Bind-It-All Machine last evening. Fun! Think I'll make some new projects with it when I return from my vacation. After a couple mistakes, I found out how to use it - and it's sooo easy. I think it's the best machine ever, almost, 'cause my Cuttlebug is the best!!

Vacation!

So! Today I'm leaving Norway for one week with my son. We're going away for a holiday in the sun! (hopefully) The destination is Spain, Costa Blanca. We're visiting my parents and my nephew. They have a house there, with a big pool. Think both Peder and I will enjoy ourselves. Too bad my husband can't come, but he doesn't have the opportunity to leave work.

I'll bringing my laptop with me, so you'll probably get some updates from me. But I'm not bringing any scrapbooking stuff with me.

Min! (Mine!)

This layout was made for a competition (scraplift) on MN, thanks for the votes! I didn't win this time, but that was totally okay, the winning layout was beautiful by the way.

I did some sewing by hand on this layout, I normally't don't do that. The photo is of my son in the park, playing with a small ball. Holding on to it! Hard! The title is in English: Mine! That's your favorite word these days.

Shopping - in love with my Mastercard!

I've goon completely mad with my Mastercard, and has also received my paycheck for June, so things are quite nice :).

Some days ago I ordered a lot of things at Papir I Hjertet. They were sold out for the Bind-It-All Machine, but I ordered other things. Last evening I ordered the Zutter Bind-It-All Machine from Papirloftet, I hope they're not sold out...
I'm really looking forward to using it. Also ordered som glimmer mist :)

The things will probably come in my mail box this upcoming week, so I've asked my husband to go pick it up at the postoffice for me. :)

Raining outside!

wow! After over 1 1/2 or 2 weeks of beautiful weather, today the rain came to town! Beautiful! So good for mother Earth :)

Not so fun for my son, because he want's out to play, and we forgot the clothes for playing outside in daycare. :)

My husband was at a bachelor party yesterday, had quite a lot of fun. My cousins getting married in August this year. He's getting married to a nice sweet girl from Lebanon. Think this family need a sparkle, huh!

Well, have not been scrapbooking a lot this weekend. Too tired. Started with the scraplift on MN, and hope to finish today. Then I'll probably only do a few things before leaving for my holiday on Tuesday. Looking forward to one week away with my son. And think my husband will enjoy some peace and quiet for a week also.
I have to get the suitcase for the trip later. I have to start packing! :)

New layout!

This is one of the first photos of my son. The tag tucked behind the photo bescribes the story of his birth. He was taken right out of my belly (sectio)!
I made this one with white cardstock. I normally use blue (baby blue), but I think this was nice? Quite pure, and simple. The arrow is from Vibeke! Thanks for all the stuff you gave me, Vibeke!

Her er mitt lille bidrag til utfordringen til Xstine som hun laget til ScrappeMania. Jeg slet virkelig med å finne et fremkalt bilde av meg selv, ja, faktisk bilde av meg selv i det hele tatt! Jeg blir ikke fotografert ofte, lenger. Dette bildet er tatt nyttårsaften i fjor, og viser vel egentlig at mannen min fremdeles liker å ta bilder av meg. Vi hadde besøk av et vennepar til middag (som har ei tulle på ca 18 måneder). :)

Jeg har brukt Distress maling (crackle paint) på overskriften, flourishen (i chipboard) og ticket'en. Takk for flott utfordring! Gøy! Hadde litt problemer med å "pynte" denne, synes mønsterarket var litt pynt i seg selv :). Siden det er rosa med oransje prikker på! På ticket'en står det hva jeg elsker mest, og det er i ikke-prioritert rekkefølge: scrapbooking, være mamma og å være 'kone'.

This was originally made for a contest on MN, but I was not satisfied with the result, so I did not hand it in. The reason I wasn't satisfied is that it looks too messy, with colors in the photos and the pattern paper. The pattern paper is from Basic Grey (Cupcake), and so is the sticker (Happy Birthday) too.

I made this card for one of the employees in my sons daycare (kindergarden). She's starting to work in another daycare in August. I'm going to buy her som flowers also. The title is: thank you (takk)!

Her er boken som jeg kjøpte for noen få uker siden. Jeg leste Drageløperen av Khaled Hosseini i februar, og boken var bare utrolig bra! Så kjøpte jeg "A Thousand Splendid Suns". Den har jeg såvidt fått begynt på.

Også kalt Taratroll er en kjempeflink scrapper. Hun har en kjempesøt jente som er et flott motiv i LO'ene. Titt innom og se!

With this layout I won (for the first time!) the weeks competition on MN (scraplift). Thank you for your votes! I was quite pleased with this layout. Liked the photo very much. I really don't remember how old Peder is on the photo, but he's not many weeks old. One of my favorite photos of him, sleeping. Think that somethings wrong with the scanning of this layout, looks better IRL. ;)
