A layout for a change! :)

 

Here comes a layout for a change. I'ts one of those projects I have had finished a while. I got quite pleased with this layout. Actually my son did add a couple of cut out cup cakes to the layout, when I was out of the house. I think he has talent for making art, already! :)
I used white Bazzil, and the strips are made with Tim Holtz tape. I used Tim Holtz stamps both on the sides of the photos and in the upper right corner - and made it quite simple. The stamp in the left bottom corner is by Norsk Stempelblad AS. The photos are taken on my son's fifth birthday this September. He got really happy for all the gifts he received. :) Thanks for visiting me today. Hope you are all fine!

My birthday boy - 4 years old!

Here is my birthday boy, yesterday he turned 4 years old! One of his biggest wishes for the day, was to get a Star Wars laser sword. His grandparents gave him that! He was so happy :) I think it was the most popular toy he got, besides for a Ben Ten "watch".

Anyhow, despite the tough days for us now, with my husband (my sons father) in hospital we had a really nice celebration. He got cake and lots of presents, and we had a lot of children and parents to celebrate the day with us.

Well I am soon off to my daily visit at the hospital... it's really hard, but I need to go. Just to see him and hold his hand. Even though he's all asleep in a medical ventilator, I pray and hope he hears my voice. Maybe it comforts him to hear me talking to him. The nurses all say that the last sense you lose before you fall asleep is your hearing ability. Have a nice Sunday!

{Bursdags-RAK!!! - BARE I DAG!}

I dag har jeg bursdag. Siden jeg har bursdag i dag, så har jeg tenkt å feire det, med å gi en liten RAK til en som legger igjen en hilsen i kommentarfeltet under! Kommentar må legges inn innen kl 24 (GMT+1) i dag. Jeg trekker en vinner i morgen som får en RAK av meg i posten. Jeg sender kun til Europa denne gang! Hva som er i RAK'en sier jeg ikke, men jeg lover det blir en koselig RAK å få (hint: jeg skal på stempel- scrap-messen i Lillestrøm på lørdag og kommer garantert til å plukke med meg noe ekstra...)

Vinneren får dessverre ikke dette lekre stempelsettet fra Stempelglede som det er bilde av her, for det er mitt. I anledning 1-årsdagen til Scrappehuset, vant jeg nemlig blogcandy - og fikk tilsendt dette flotte stempelsettet i dag - på bursdagen min! Tusen tusen takk! Flotteste gaven jeg har fått til nå. (Og eneste ;)) Måtte bare skryte litt av den fine gaven. Ønsker alle som er innom en fin dag! :)

{60th birthday card!}

A co-worker wanted a card for a 60 year old woman. She enjoyed wine, so I made this card for her. I hope she liked the card. :) The stamp is stamped on glossy paper with a dark brown StazOn. Used some scrap paper, and the flowers are Prima. Used my Stampin' Up word window punch for the sentiment. The sentiment text are from Norsk Stempelblad AS. The numbers are thickers from American Craft. TFL! :)
