Whiff of Joy challenge - anything but square!
Here comes another card! I have not had enough time to do layouts, yet. Hope I soon will. :) Anyway, here is a card I want to enter the Whiff of Joy challenge "anything but square" challenge. For my card I used a Nestabilities grand shape. I also used the cute Henry mouse with a drink. I made a boy/man birthday card (the sentiment is in Norwegian). Enjoy your weekend. I hope it will be sunny and bright! :) Thanks for stopping by!

Whiff of Joy challenge blog 100th challenge!
Here is a new card from me. I don't have much time to create these days. But hopefully things will change in the nearby future. Tomorrow my husband will return home after 7 months in hospital. The 2 first months he was on a respirator(breathing machine) in coma. The first 3 months he was seriously ill, and we didn't know if he would survive. Now he's recovering slowly.
My card is for the challenge over at Whiff of Joy challenge blog. The 100th challenge is "let's celebrate". I am celebrating my husband, our friendship and love, our son, our friends and family etc and cardmaking!
I made a card with Nora and Ben. Hopefully this Spring someone will get this card. It's a wedding card, of course.
Enjoy your day! Thanks for visiting!
Ps! this folding technique I learnt at a class at Steffens, last year. :)

Whiff of Joy challenge - buttons and blooms
![]() | |
| Her kommer enda ett kort fra meg. Gutta mine sover allerede. |

A Christmas card :)
I think everyone is doing their Christmas cards by now...? Well, I have been making Christmas cards since July, I think. So I am starting to finish of all I have to make that I am planning to send out. This card was made with my new Grand Nestabilities from Spellbinders! I love them. I only bought one set... But the new machine from Spellbinders - the Grand Calibur was bought from Scrap-Mart. You can also get it in Norway for a good price at Bikuben. I used the biggest die and folded it in two. :) Used some scrap paper and a WoJ stamp. The doily is a Marianne D die. :) The stamp is colored in with Copics sketch markers. I am entering this card at the Whiff of Joy challenge blog - Christimas cards!

{WoJ exploding box!}
I have been working on this one for days... and finally I finished it today. I am very satisfied myself with the result. This is the first try on an exploding box, I found a tutorial at the Whiff of Joy tutorial blog. Very nice one. I used a stamp from last year, that has been colored in since December 2009. And a new stamp from this years collection (inside the box - scroll down to see). Several photos in this post, just to see how the box works. I am entering this box into some challenges:
Whiff of joy challenge blog - challenge #87 layers, Paper play challenges - all shapes and sizes except rectangel or square, and one more for the Scrappekammeret - anything goes! And the ABC Challenge - distressing!
Closed box from the top:

from the top without the ribbon:

From the side, used a new nestie to cut out the window. Also used a die from WoJ (banner) to make the sentiment - it say's merry xmas in Norwegian:

{Whiff of Joy challenge sketch #86}
This weeks challenge at Whiff of Joy is to make something out of a sketch, made by Jane. A lovely sketch. I had already used my Tim Holtz alternations die and found some papers when I found out I wanted to give the sketch a try. I found this adorable small bonus stamp from WoJ to use with the papers that is a pad with different sewing design papers. I used my sewing machine to sew around the panels. The flowers are done with my retro flower punches (medium and small). The ribbon was already made and matched the green buttons in colour. I hope the card is okay for the challenge. Enjoy your day. :)

{2S4U + Whiff of Joy challenge blog}
Here is my take on two challenges! One is the sketch at 2S4Y, you find the sketch here. The other challenge I want to enter is Whiff of Joy challenge that is to make a door hanger. I used Willow with coffee to go, one of the coolest images I've used on a girly creation. :) Oh, I'd wish I had this lovely slim body.. Enjoy your day! :) TFL!

Here is my door hanger, I just photographed it laying on my sofa ;):

{whiff of Joy challenge #84 fuzzy!}
When Katharina had her summer sale in her shop a week ago, I ordered a couple of the City girls, this one is Willow with coffee to go. I am totally addicted to my morning coffee, and I buy mine in the local coffee shop at work. The guy who owns the coffee shop is very nice, and I always chat a word or two with him before I head upstairs to work! This card is a salute to him! :) I used some scrap paper on this one, don't remember brand names... Other than that I used my sewing machine, some brads with bling and a lace. My fuzzy are the felt is flowers that I have cut out from felt borders. The "Mmmm..." sentiment is from Elsie and the other sentiment text is from Norsk Stempelblad AS. Enjoy your Tuesday! :) TFL!

Whiff of Joy - challenge #76
I got my new kit from Whiff of Joy some days ago, and made this card of the handsome Aladin :). I used my new distress inks from Tim Holtz to colour the image, and the colours are just perfect for this guy. The dp is Basic Grey. The card is made after a sketch - that Bev has made. You find the sketch here. I am entering the WoJ challenge blog #76 with this card. :). Have a nice Monday evening!
