Photos from Bristol!

Finally I got time to upload and scale the images. Here's the photos from my trip to Bristol. :)

By the Bristol river (this boat was actually a restaurant we were thinking of visiting):

This was a really, really old building. It's actually tilted, but you can't see that on the photo:

This big round "thing" was outside the tourist information. I'm not sure what it was (for):

Me infront of Stonehenge... The weather was foggy, when we got there about 10 a.m.

The sun is shining!:

A small town (don't remember the name). Really old buildings that nobody had done anything with since the 18th century... The photo here shows where they filmed a scene from the movie Dr. Doolittle:

The famous bridge in Bristol:

{Cards, more cards}

Here are some cards I've made lately that I havn't published yet. I've actually have made a layout, but I'm not sure if I can publish it yet. Will check that out later.

Anyway, here's the cards - click on the images to see them in larger versions!:

This is made with my new stamp from Hänglar&Stänglar. Love the stamps!

Used old pattern paper, a QK dies, and my Fiskars border punch (Threading water). Used H20-paint.

This is a kind of small and tall card. Magnolia stamp, also used brown Bazzil, my Fiskars border punch, white roller pen, stamp from Norsk Stempelblad, gingerbread receipe (don't remember the brand):

And this is a really simple card - it's a clear card (frosted). I've bought some clear cards from Shorts Cuts. The stamp is from Magnolia. Love this stamp! I've colored it with pencils with the Gamsol- technique.

The pattern papers are really really old, don't remember from who. Think it was one of the first papers I've bought. Used Fiskars border and embossing-punch.

{Back from Bristol ++}

I'm back home from my weekend with the girls. It was awesome! :-D Had such a good time. Really enjoyed myself all the time.

Earlier this morning I tried to get hold of tickets to the AC/DC gig in February 2009... What a bummer! The internet web site didn't manage all the traffic, and the phone didn't function eighter... So, tickets were sold out by 11.30 am... And I didn't get any. Quite angry... Would have loved to see 'em live again. First time I saw them in concert was in 1991/1992, and it was the most stunning gig ever! The show, the music everything. But AC/DC is my favorite all time band. Even bigger than Metallica he-he.

Well. I'll try to upload photos from the trip to Bristol later, and share them with you. I'll be home today. Just trying to do some scrapbooking before picking up my sweet boy who's in kindergarden now.

As you can see, I've changed the blog appearance. I think I try make a new header as well. Later.

box of cards

Made this box yesterday to put all my cards in, since I'm almost only make cards these days. I did start on a layout yesterday, but I'm not finished yet! ;)

Later tonight I'm leaving for Bristol, UK, with 6 other girls - we're off for a girlie weekend! Not home until Sunday! Yeyh! It's gonna be shopping, sightseeing, a bit party?
Hope you all have a nice end of the week and weekend!

See you all soon! :) Thanks for stopping by!

{one layout! and a card}

Have not made any layouts lately, but this I finished for the scraplift challenge on MN. My photos on the layout are taken on Crete. Peder was eager to borrow my sunglases, and had some trouble putting them on (they are quite big). His faces were so funny. We really laughed! (Later when we looked at the photos...) Look at his gesture with his hand when he's put them on! ;)

Love you card:

Details:

Used the H2O-paint :) Can't se the twinkeling and glitter. But it's quite nice IRL.

Another Xmas card:

{Even more Christmas cards...}

Here are some new cards I've made this last past days. They're a bit different. This first one is one without a stamped image. I used papers from Scrappers Choise (Vibeke Spigseth). Love this papers (which I got from my friend last weekend). They're really good quality.

My son in the rain!

Yesterday I met a friend, made a kind of quiche - was a lot of work, but tasted quite okay. Since I don't have a lot of enery, I thought it was too much work... My friend was very satisfied though.

We went outside, so the children could play. It was raining. Here we are finished playing, and in the trolley back home....

Isn't he cute :) Such sad eyes...

Only cards...

Last past week I've only made cards. Due to my lack of energy, been sick and not "myself" lately. So, here's yet another card I've made. Inside I've used a stamp that says "I love you". Didn't remember to take a photo of the inside.

Front:

Detail:

Can't remember the pattern paper I used, sorry. Supplies: Sarah Kay stamp, swirls by Rhonna Fahrer, glitter glue by Ranger, Liquid Pearls by Ranger, distress ink Ranger, cardstock by Bazzil.

{Class at Steffens - made 2 cards}

Was at Steffens yesterday, and here's what we made! Really inspired after going to class there. You should join their classes in Spring (they're all booked this Autumn).

Card made with Pampilio stamp:

{Old layout}

Made this when I went to the crop weekend with my friends in early September. Didn't finish it before last week or so. Not very satisfied. But that'll do. The photo is just one of my favorite photo.

Kindergarten accident!

My poor son was playing in kindergarten today, fell and got a ugly lip. He did bleed, and was a bit sad tonight (according to my husband).

They did call from kindergarten after the accident. So I did fear the worst.

It was quite difficult and maybe painful for him to eat. My dear son...

{New header} and a halloween card!

I haven't been too creative these last days. Been outside and away from my scrapbooking stuff last weekend, and yesterday I got ill (again). Last week I had a cold, was really tired, but got to scrapbook some cards.

So this afternoon I have made myself a new header (tired of the old one), and earlier today I made the very first Halloween card I've ever made. Thought it was quite nice, very simple though.

Card:

Header:

{Birthday present!} and some "knitted flowers"

I actually got all this stuff from my friend, when I visited her last weekend. Yes! :) I was surprised and really happy when I opened the present. Lots of papers from Scrappers Choice. OMG! So nice papers. And the other side of the papers are as lovely as them shown here.

MM mini alfa stickers, alfa stickers from Jenni Bowlin and Bazzil Chips:

My friend learnt me how to knit (hekle) flowers. With some different sizes of the needle and yarn, here is my result:

More shopping....!!!

Oh yes! Did some shopping again this weekend! Went to visit my friend this weekend, and she was really happy for the card by the way.

Visited Papir i Hjertet in Porsgrunn and here are what I bought:

Around the block writer (kind of like the Dymo I have), scissors, flowers, ink, clearstamps, alfa, pen (black).

Thickers in black and white and silver. And some alfa stickers in black.

A bad photo, but alfa stickers, bazzil and something called wood easel.

{Folding card}

Here's another card *LOL* made last evening. The card took a long time to make. A lot of measurements. Had to be accurate with my ruler.
I'm giving this card to my friend, whom my son and I will visit this weekend. She's soo sweet. Really love her a lot. The stamp is one that I got to buy from Anne Bente (finally I mounted them...). It's so lovely (looks like Sarah Kay I think). Used my new H20 twinkeling paint. Love them!

Supplies: 3ndy Papir, Gudrun L, Bazzil, and some fasteners I can't remember the name of. Heart brads and Prima flowers. Paint: distress ink and H20 water color paint. Love the shimmering paint...

Outside details:

Inside detail:

The stamp was bought in April at Scrappemessa. It's from Elise Meling (I think her name is):

And I'm going to buy a small chocolate to put inside the card, with some photos from last time I visited my friend. :)
